    The first members of the family Banck that settled in Viken, came from Arild in the parish of Brunnby around 1780. They were skeppare Måns Jönsson Bank (1753-1802) and his brother skeppare Nils Jönsson Bank (1758-1813), later other decendants of the Brunnby linage also settled here.
